The federal government just initiated a 30-day public comment period in their attempt to open an ICE detention center in the Bay Area, and we are working in collaboration with the broader ICE Out of Dublin Coalition to generate a tidal wave of comment submissions in opposition. 

We’ll hear a brief overview about the campaign and why preventing this detention facility is so critical to preventing more ICE presence in the Bay Area. We’ll talk about why resisting ICE is so connected to our values and history as Jewish people, and we’ll learn how to submit effective comments together and submit them in real time.

This is a great opportunity to invite friends, family and members of your Jewish and other communities to learn more and take meaningful action in an easy way, from wherever they are! (Anyone from around the country is welcome, they don’t have to be local).
