At Bay Area Jews for Justice (BAJJ), we are co-creating a cultural and political home for Bay Area progressive Jews to advance social, racial, environmental, and economic justice in our communities.

We organize alongside our neighbors to create a Bay Area where all people can thrive in dignity.

We envision a Jewish community that builds the power of our movements from a place of joy, pride, and connection.

We are proudly Jewish and believe all Jews have a role to play in our collective liberation.

Orientation on March 22 in East Bay

Oakland, CA – RSVP to see address
Join Bay Area Jews for Justice (BAJJ) for this orientation to our organization! This gathering will include opportunities for relationship-building, learning about our priorities and structure, and information about ways to get involved. We offer orientations in San Francisco, East Bay, and on Zoom. Orientation sessions are capped at 30 participants, so sign up soon to reserve your spot.  Accessibility Information We want to make our events as accessible as possible. Please let us know if there are any accessibility needs or if there is anything we can do to make joining our events more possible for you. We will be meeting in a backyard outside.  We will have chairs for everyone. There are a couple of half steps to get to the outdoor space that the host says a wheelchair could navigate with assistance. The bathroom is up some stairs and not accessible via wheelchair. In case of rain, we will move the orientation inside (or we will let everyone know in case we need to cancel). Masking is welcome, but not required.  We ask that anyone who is feeling sick not attend the event. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to make joining our events more possible for you. We do not have plans to offer interpretation (foreign language or ASL), but if that's something you need, please let us know, as we may be able to build it into future events.
